Troubleshooting

Start with a support report. The doctor command collects kernel, DMI, WMI, driver, LED, and hwmon probes for bug reports without changing hardware state.

excalibur-control-center-cli doctor --include-dmesg
  • Run doctor first; it is read-only by default.
  • Use --include-dmesg when reporting driver or WMI problems.
  • If permissions fail, verify group membership and log in again.
  • If controls are missing, check that casper-wmi is loaded.
